Magnetic separators for ferrous metals

Efficiency and reliability in the removal of ferromagnetic contaminants.

Magnetic separators for ferrous metals are an essential component in modern waste treatment and sorting plants. Their function is to intercept and remove ferrous fractions from heterogeneous streams, helping to protect downstream equipment and increase the value of the selected materials.

Thanks to modular and customizable design, our magnetic separators adapt perfectly to different operational requirements, both in terms of throughput and plant layout.

The inducing field, generated by the magnetic core, can be of different types depending on the application:

They operate without electrical power thanks to high-intensity permanent magnets.

They are suitable for regular flows of relatively light materials, offering an excellent technical/economic ratio.

They use a magnetic field generated by an electrically powered electromagnet.

Ideal for high-intensity applications and large throughputs, they ensure continuous and automatic separation of ferrous metals.

These solutions are ideally applied in plants for:

  • Light/heavy multimaterial processing;
  • Plastic material regeneration;
  • Ready-to-melt preparation;
  • Post-combustion slag treatment;
  • WEEE treatment;
  • Quarries, mining plants, and construction waste processing.

MATERIAL DISCHARGE.

automatic discharge separators

Designed for the continuous and automatic removal of ferrous material.

Ideal for plants where manual intervention is not foreseen or not possible, and where the presence of ferrous material in the flow is significant.

Overbelt Magnetic Separators

Discover our belt magnetic separators: automatic extraction of ferrous material with maximum cleanliness and no electrical panel required.

Overbelt Electromagnetic Separators

Positioned transversely or longitudinally to the flow, they remove ferrous metals using an independent conveyor belt.

Magnetic Drums

Usually fed by vibrating feeders, they ensure the continuous separation of ferrous material from high-throughput flows.

Magnetic Pulleys

They replace the head pulley of the conveyor belt, turning it into an efficient and compact automatic ferrous metal separation system.

Magnetic Sorters

Magnetic drum installed inside a duct with one inlet and two outlets: one for the separated iron, the other for the residual material.

static separators

The removal of captured metal is carried out manually by the operator.

Suitable for low-throughput applications with the presence of ferrous material, or at specific points of the line where targeted protection is required.

Manual Overhead Suspension Magnets

Available in permanent or electromagnetic versions, they are installed in a fixed position above conveyor belts or at material drop points.

Magnetic Tubes / Grate Magnets

They intercept ferrous particles from fine or granular materials. Built with high-intensity permanent magnets, they offer high separation efficiency at low throughput.
